More Comics, More Obama
In April, First Lady Michelle Obama will star in her own issue of a biographical comics series called, “Female Force” by Bluewater Productions. (If you get your hands on a copy, send me your review!) The other political figures in the series include Hillary Clinton, Caroline Kennedy, and Sarah Palin.
If you enjoyed Presidential Material: Barack Obama, then get ready for the series, The Road to the White House, in June:
This two-issue series will chronicle then-Senator Obama from his Greek column-framed acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention in August, through the 100th day of his groundbreaking administration.
And in addition to announcing the new lineup for the Youngblood superhero team in Youngblood #8, Obama makes the Washington Post list of Top 10 list Black Superheroes, and point out that “it takes a true superhero to put Spider-Man on the back burner of his very own comic book.” (h/t Glyphs)
